Why Make a Will?

Only 3 out of every 10 people in this country have bothered to make a Will.  The remaining 7 will have no control over what happens to their hard earned possessions as these will be divided up amongst remaining family or relatives or may even go to the Crown!

Benefits of Making a Will

Your family will know exactly how your property and possessions should be handled.

You choose the person ("the executor") you want to deal with all necessary paperwork and procedures.

Creation of trust for your children to secure their future.

  Leave gifts to specific people.

  Restrict and minimise tax liabilities.

  Appoint Guardians for young children.

Express wishes about the disposal of your body.

If you do not have a Will you may be familiar with many of the usual reasons people give for not making one.  Never thought about it!  Too complicated!  Not rich enough to make one!

However you are probably far wealthier than you realise – just add up the value of all your belongings – your house, car, savings, insurance policies and so on.
